Emerging Artists

TACA strives to be a dynamic resource to serve the needs of craft artists and to promote their careers. This aspect of our mission is carried out primarily through the activities of our six regional chapters. The chapters provide emerging artists with their first experiences in the world of retail sales. A primary example of this activity is the Chapter Booth at the Tennessee Craft Fair, where each Chapter sets up a group booth to display and sell the work of young craftspeople, presenting a unique opportunity for fairgoers to become acquainted with the future craft artists of Tennessee.

Chapter Booths are a part of both the Tennessee Craft Fair, held the first weekend in May and the TACA Fall Craft Fair, held the last weekend in September.
